This classic by Dolly Parton has been remixed by Love To Infinity.
These mixes were released in the U.K.
-Love To Infinity Radio Mix (3:34) -Love To Infinity Club Mix (6:48)
The original:
The remixes are housey. Some might find them a tad cheesey, but they're fun. There have been so very few official remixes of Dolly Parton songs. Her cover of "Peace Train" (originally by Cat Stevens) had a number of mixes by Junior Vasquez, Joseph Moskowitz, Julian Marsh, Paul Andrews, Diddy (not Sean "Puffy" Combs), and Sparky back in 1997. She did have a few Disco-oriented tracks in the '80s though.

hey, thanks for the headsup! I guess it's available on the UK version of iTunes, but not here in the states....grrrrrr - Peace Train was cool, I always preferred Paul Andrews' mix the best (that piano outro was brilliant) but have always wanted to hear Wayne G's take on it.

Nice! I loved that White Label mix that's floating around online. Good stuff! There's also a new cover by Work-A-Holics which came out earlier this year. The main mix I have heard was by Riff & Rays. Good production, however, the vocals are not the best, but they're okay.

I got my hands on these mixes today. I haven't really had much chance to listen to them, but on my first quick listen I didn't really like them.....
I'll have to try them again later :)

Billboard has a nice little story on Dolly Parton, and how she's re-worked some of her tunes for the upcoming Broadway version of "9 to 5." In the article, she talks about potential new directions for her next album. ""I purposely did this particular album trying to cater to the country market to see if I could still get some play," she explains. "But you know me; I'm never gonna be just any one thing, I'm just Dolly. I may do a gospel album next. I know I'm gonna do some children's CDs and some DVDs for children. I wake up with new dreams every day, and I just kind of follow my gut and follow my heart. It may be a country album next, or it may be something completely different. I may wind up doing a dance record!"While this is very tentative, how cool would it be for Dolly to do a "dance record"? Haha. I would LOVE that. I'm also kind of excited about this musical. Dolly is a genius. Check out the full article on Billboard: www.billboard.com/bbcom/news/article_display.jsp?vnu_content_id=1003833923
