I'm not certain if this has gone for adds yet, but their album comes out June 28th, and I'd be interested to hear it since their past "Swing Swing" and "Time Stands Still" were good songs..I have their album, somewhere, I think..

THE ALL-AMERICAN REJECTS Dirty Little Secret Producer(s): Howard Benson Writer(s): N. Wheeler, T. Ritter Publisher(s): Smells Like Phys Ed/BMG (ASCAP) Genre: ROCK Label/Catalog Number: Doghouse/Interscope (CD promo) Source: Billboard Magazine Originally Reviewed: June 18, 2005
The All-American Rejects have been M.I.A. since their crossover hit "Swing, Swing" was spinning on top 40 in the summer of 2003. The sweetly photogenic foursome—who retain their cool factor with casual outfits but are clean-cut enough to take home to mom—are letting us in on "Dirty Little Secret" to introduce its upcoming album, "Move Along" (due July 12). AAR doesn't shy from its pop pedigree, which is front and center in this little ditty, where a lighter-fare Blink-182 meets Fountains of Wayne. It's a by-the-numbers hit written for attention-challenged teens, and it's so brief, you might miss it if you blink. —Christa L. Titus

Well, from hanging on with about 20 spins a week, the dropping to 1 spin, they've really picked up and are looking promising for atleast new and active right now.

This is pretty good. I can see this doing, well or at least moderately on Pop.
This song's video will be released as MTV2's "new video of the week" this Tuesday.

It sucks they're picking this up so late, although wasn't it originally supposed to go for adds tomorrow?
Either way, I guess it'll help keep their sales going instead of a good first couple weeks then out of the top 100.

If you listen to the very begining where the drums start its identical to Linkin Park's "Faint."

I like this a lot more now after seeing the video. If anyone's seen the PostSecret site, which I first discovered a couple of months ago, the video makes heavy use of those same postcards.

I love the video. It's hilarious and it made me love the song. At first I wasn't really into it, but now i'm beginning to like the song.

Why is this flopping? I thought this was a sure-shot Top 20 for these guys.

Finally picking up just a little bit, +129, still may have to wait another week or two before making top 40, I guess Ashlee Simpson, her ex, and a country song are more worthy than this. I would rank this as the catchiest song out right now, it deserves top 20 at least, it's better than Fall Out Boy, even though they are good too. As I said about the failure of "Stars" which is now at only +6, apparently Pop is too good to play more than a handful of rock songs, but it's okay to have that many rhythmic-urban songs just in the top 10, and 15 total in the top 40, compare that to just 7 rock songs and I wouldn't even count "Holiday," "Scars," or "Beverly Hills," because they are so old, which leaves really only 4 'fresh' rock songs in top 40, now I know that there are number of the 15 rhythmic songs that are also not so 'fresh,' but still it's a big difference, but then again this is way off-topic and belongs in a different conversation. The point is, this song deserves to do better than what it is currently doing.

It is finally going somewhere with no threats behind them until Kayne (#40) and Beyonce (#42). Hopefully with the remainder of that last Summer batch of songs leaving this will make top 20!

Heh, this is sort of reminiscent of what "Swing, Swing" did with its slow start and taking 3 months to peak. I could see this lasting a bit longer/peaking a bit higher, though.[/font]

Talk about your slow burn. There's pretty much nothing coming up behind it, so it should be able to pull off a top 25 at least.

Yes, higher!
This is definitely going to outpeak Swing, Swing, since I doubt that had a bullet this size at this stage.
