I noticed that 42 of the 50 songs on the chart are available on digital. Did Billboard made changes to the chart criteria?

I noticed that too.

I remember back in the day when physical singles were available, the catalog number listed next to a particular song was for the physical single, otherwise it would say promo. In the last few years, more and more of them have been listed as being promos. Maybe the 'digital" label next them means that those titles are available digitally or the mixes were promoted digitally. ??? Maybe there will be an official explanation in the Dance column that accompanies the chart in the magazine.

But I think the only digital format Billboard uses to compile it's dance single sales charts is just iTunes. There's also masterbeat, perfectbeat, & beatport.

That said, I was surprised Goldfrapp released a digital single for Caravan Girl so early. :o Especially considering that Happiness isn't even old around here yet!
