Info originally posted by PhillipAnthonyJr over at the DJ Rico forum:
Vanessa Hudgens "Sneakernight" CD5-Pro (Hollywood Records)
1. Sneakernight (Albert Castillo Radio Mix) (3:32) 2. Sneakernight (Albert Castillo Club Mix) (6:40) 3. Sneakernight (Mr. Mig Retrogroove Edit) (3:47) 4. Sneakernight (Mr. Mig Retrogroove Extended Mix) (6:23) 5. Sneakernight (Mr. Mig Rhythm Tribal Edit) (4:24) 6. Sneakernight (Mr. Mig Rhythm Tribal Mix) (6:55)
There's also a Mr. Mig dub not featured on the promo, clocking in at 7:39.
The Albert Castillo mixes are standard pop-dance fare, they work well with the song; I quite like them.
Mr. Mig's Retrogroove mix changes the key signature of the song, and it works for the most part, but to be truly effective it would have been a better idea to take out some of the harmony vocals.
Mr. Mig's Rhythm Tribal mix retains the original key signature, and is better suited to the full vocal (with harmony). There are still a few instances where they don't quite mesh (major chords in the vocals over the minor key backing)
Mr. Mig's dub is not fashioned on either of his other mixes.
The bridge is mostly left out of the mixes, presumably because of the key change in the original. A little of it is kept in the Retrogroove mix.

Haven't heard Mig's yet, but Albert's is very very good (which Freemasons Mix did the drums come from? Is it "Beautiful Liar"?).

Alright...after listening to the Castillo & Mr. Mig edits (that's all I have)...I have to say that the Castillo mix is still my absolute favorite. I can't wait to hear the full length mixes. Of the Mr. Mig mixes, I think I prefer the tribal mix...but I'm still on the fence.

Yeah, the song is pretty rubbish. The mixes improve upon it muchly IMO.

honestly, i must admit that her voice is cute but this song doesn't represent her well. it's just really silly to me.
