They're back already?! :o I thought they wanted to take a fairly long break after how huge ATRR was. Anyhow, this has an extremly good shot at #1 on the Hot 100, coming off something liek ATTR. I HATE the name though. Cliche much?

Regardless what this song sounds like its going top 5 on pop and #1 on the hot 100. Radio ate up everything from them last year. I do think this will go #1 on pop and #1 on the hot 100.

The title seems really clichéd.

How come all their songs are about memories and dying? Photograph, looking back on memories, Savin Me the video is about peoples death clocks, and this one talking about your last day of life. Depressing much?

I can't see this doing well at rock like their stuff usually does. Haven't heard the song of course, but with a title like this I can't imaine it being something that appeals outside of the CHR/AC zone.

The title makes me think the lyrics are going to be just like Tim McGraw's "Live Like You Were Dying".

I was hoping for a return to roots rock album, but if this song title is any indication then it doesn't look like that's gonna be the case. I liked AtRR, but I wished they put out a decent rock song on the last album.

Just going by the title, my guess is this is a ballad or a midtempo.

Here is what they should do. Make none of their new material available digitally a la Kid Rock. It may not be working for Estelle so far, but maybe it only does wonders for rock artists/bands. That would be fun to watch.

^ That would be interesting to keep track of. But they didn't have problems moving both albums and singles so they probably won't do that.

They definitely have an audience similar to that of Kid Rock's, but they have a much larger and widespread audience on top of that. Since they have no trouble shifting both, I don't think it's really necessary.

Nickelback has a pretty well established fanbase at this point. They will sell regardless of holding back digital singles. You can't say the same about Kid and definitely not Estelle.

Haha, oh god. This is gonna be a smash. :/ I went to their concert last summer, mainly to see Daughtry, but it's crazy to watch a show by them and realize just how many radio hits they have. Radio's been very, very good to them.

I wonder if this from a new album...or if it's just a soundtrack or single song....
If it's from the new album....I think it will go at least top 3 in hot 100 and top 5 in Pop radio

That's just the month Nickelback fans have been saying it's coming out. I'd imagine it will though. That would be an appropriate time frame for a September single release.

I know it's not a completely trustworthy source, but Wikipedia says the album is titled Untucked.

I have a feeling this time will be different. Had "Reasons" fallen off the chart by now I'd agree with you. But for them to keep selling that much continuously is huge, and it shows that they're still fresh in people's minds even though all of their singles from their last album have long been recurrent.
