Actually the parts without music are what I'm lookin' forward to. I've already seen all the performances and am just eager to see what went on backstage. I am really excited to see the program though, this was a great year and it should equate to a good show.
I just hate how CMA Music Festival has become ALL ABOUT the ABC special! It's crazy when they have to stop the concerts to get the crowd to yell for three minutes while they shoot for promos!

You guys had staged applause? For all artists, I'm assuming, right? I'm really looking forward to hearing Taylor's new material, Brad Paisley (Is he going to be there? I never see him on the commercials), Keith Urban, and, of course, CARRIE UNDERWOOD. I'm such a fanboy it's insane. lol.

^ No, we just have to stage applause for Taylor. I'm gonna guess she's performing twice, because the applause was at LP Field, and Zach says "Love Story" will also be part of the show; and I'm also guessing she's opening the special because of the applause.

Taylor is opening the show with, I'm assuming, "Our Song" and she may also do another song from LP Field and she will also perform "Love Story" from the steps of the Ryman Auditorium. They are calling it 'impromptu', but it was not- people were lined up there for hours before and it took them forever to get sound right and stuff.
We also had to stage applause while they shot for promos and things like that. Over the past couple of years they have made a big deal out of making a good show.

the staged applause was only for Taylor. Brad Paisley was not there, i talked to his Manager and he said that he has been there for the last few years and was taking this year off to focus on some other things. Taylor did not perform "Love Story" at LP Field she performed "Our Song", "Picture To Burn", and "Should've Said No" and thats it.
