I was right. It's Pugh. Agyness wore it on the runway. In context: I WON'T HEAR A WORD AGAINST THIS MAN. He's the next McQueen. Beyonce should stick to Cavalli or D&G. Or (LOL) *~*The House of Dereon*~*.

She also wore Pugh on the red carpet. More successfully.

My ass that katy was the most voted! Hummmm, why? ??? She's been always the favorite to win the "New Act" category. OneRepublic and Duffy don't have a big fanbase to compete with Katy's or her current fame, I don't know if they have an actual fanbase at all. As for the Disney kids they win in the US, Katy is way more successful then them worlwide now and since this was in votes I would be surprised if she lost. ;)

Looks like "Project Runway" faire. And we aren't talking Korto/LeAnne......or even Jerrell! I guess they had to give Mama Knowles something to do. I like Pugh for the most part, even if he does sometimes over styles his close and WAY over styles the models for his shows. I guess it works for his aesthetic. The pieces in his S2009RTW collection that Marina and Karlie wore were to die for. But, I can't help but look at his RTW collections and they come down the runway and think, "man, there's nothing RTW about that." I guess that's true of a lot of designers, but he's much more guilty than most.

Roisin Murphy wore one of the S/S09 pieces right off the runway and looked great. I actually think Beyonce looks good on the red carpet. The robocop/armor dress number would look better on someone like Rihanna. She's like 5'9+, statuesque, and kind of androgynous. And yes the House of Dereon is certainly doing celebrity designer's reputation no favors. ;)

I am European, I live in Europe, even live in the same timezone of where these awards were held. And yet, I am proud to say that I didn't watch them, didn't plan to, and judging by the comments, glad I did so. Watching them would be the same as awarding MTV the tiny bit of relevance they simply do not have anymore. Hell, posting this alone does that job very nicely, thanks! I think they lost any small bit of relevance tonight by awarding Rick Astley the "Best Act Ever" award - surely, a new low.

Kind of like the whole Sanjaya craze here.

EMA's are much better than VMA's. I loved almost every performance except Katy's.. She just can't sing. She did ok as a host.
