Sorry junkie, no. This archive site has taken 6-7 years to make just for the one format, so you can imagine why nobody else is doing it for the other formats. Plus I had to get R+R's permission. maybe post the other format's forum and ask if anyone is making one or thikning about it.

Nice site! Are there any *free* sites like this for the Hot 100? You can go right to the Billboard site and do an artist search and it'll show you where they charted on their charts.

True... though with Billboard, it only gives you the last 20 years. As most of us know, the R&R charts are a lot more accurate (especially in the mid-late 90's when Billboard didn't chart airplay only hits on their Hot 100 like No Doubt's "Don't Speak" and the Cardigans "Lovefool")...

good point, john77; starting in November 1991, Billboard went to 'sales only' and from then on really was, to me,entirely inaccurate. R+R has always been purely airplay-based charts and thus reflects exactly what's being played on radio. Billboard did, of course, have an 'airplay' chart along the way, but the hot 100 was always either sales + airplay combined (until 11/91) or sales only (after that).

Wow, thank you! I have never even seen this site! (And thanks to you who reminded me of the Billboard.com archive section... I'm too lazy for that though heh!)

If you register at www.allmusic.com, you can see Billboard chart peaks for songs and albums on a variety of different charts. The data goes all the way back into the '40s and '50s.

Not exactly... the Hot 100 has been Sales + Airplay for its entire history (1958 to present). It's just that sales took on a bigger presence on that chart during the 90s (thanks to record companies trending toward not releasing commercial singles for radio hits, making them ineligible to chart until the revamp in late 1998).
