I hope it gets them back on the chart, their singles from their last album deserves to do better.

I don't think I've heard enough of this track to say if I like or dislike this single.
I was hoping to hear a more meaty, edgy, guitar-driven type of track as a lead single. But I also like it when artists evolve as well, so I hope the whole of it doesn't sound too much like a Third Day affair.
Sincerely, Noah Eaton

After hearing a longer clip at their website I think this song has got what it takes to get them back on the pop chart.

This is going to be a Pop hit. It's going to take months to crossover though.
The sound of this song is doing really well right now. However, they have to wait til Pop PDs get over their predisposed notions and see this as a hit before the airplay comes. That's what happened with "You and Me" and "Beverly Hills," and that's what will happen here.

Their last studio album came out in Spring 2002, but their "Live" album came out last Fall, so I would say they are way overdue for a new album.

I think I changed my mind. LOL! I don't think it's that good anymore. It's very generic and it sounds way too christian.

Does this have an add date yet? I really like this, but I couldn't help notice part of it towards the end sounds like Gwen's "Cool."

It doesn't have much of a hook, which is disappointing.

I don't like this as of yet. It seems quite boring but maybe it will be a grower. As far as Pop success, I think it might break the top 40 but only maybe. Believe it or not but I think "Give A Little Bit" was more Pop friendly. But that's just my opinion. We'll see what happens.

I don't know, I think if it is already at #9 on iTunes, that that shows the Goo Goo Dolls still have a pretty good shot at having a hit on their hands. The song keeps growing on me, and for their sake, I hope it becomes a big hit. Not to mention, nothing else sounds like the GGD or at least this single.

I heard this on FM100 out of Memphis last night. It was #4 on their Top 8 at 8. I like the song and hope pop radio picks it up.

#4 already!! And it's only been out for like 3 days, that's a really good sign.

I heard it on the radio tonight. It's a decent song, but I dont think it's smash hit material. It will do okay on the charts though.

It's very Iris, just with a faster beat.
You can sing along with the lyrics to Iris.

I heard this on the CNN commercial today, it sounds good, I just hope they don't make this into another hurricane song.

I heard this for the first time last night, and though I find it beautiful lyrically, musically it just drags along.
I have never really studied the iTunes/Hot 100 connection, but I for one felt sleepier after hearing this, and agree there is a total lack of hook in the track.
I'm not convinced the lyrics will save this single either. There's just not enough fuel musically to this track, it's like trying to light a fuse when it's raining.
My Prediction: Will Not Chart
Sincerely, Noah Eaton
