I can't believe she is ending this era with this song.

Mother beep she'd better change this to "Bubble Pop Electric" or "Harajuku Girls"...if the latter it would be sweet if they spiced it up with a remix of some sorts!

Awful choice. Just asking for a flop.

All the single choices have been horrible so far except "WYWF" and "Cool."
I'm so mad they didn't go with "Serious." I thought that was going to be the last single?

I was really surprised that Bubble Pop Electronic wasn't chosen as the 5th and final single. I agree that Luxurious isn't going to go very far on the charts. Top 20 max.

Luxurious sucks; I hope her people are reading the fan sites and general music sites. None of the songs left on the album would burn up the charts, but she might reach a different demographic by releasing "Serious" or "Bubble Pop Electric".

Still think this is a ridiculous single choice but it has been growing on me.

Is the music from a Notorious BIG song?
Anyways, I think this song is good. It'll grow on me.

Is the music from a Notorious BIG song? It's from Isley Brothers with the classic "Between the sheets",indeed Notorious BIG used the same sample. I like Luxurious, good album track, but as a single from this amazing album, please I'm sure the video will be hot though!

What a horrible choice! I think "Harajuku Girls" could've done well with a radio version.

I would've rather had "Harajuku Girls" as a single over this!

the "video casting call" for this seems shady
I thought I read somewhere that this was going to be a radio-only single?
And Gwen herself said back in the summer that "Cool" was a nice "ending to this era"
wonder why they changed their minds. "Cool" was a moderate hit and at this point I doubt album sales will be impacted that much by a 5th single.
This is actually my least favorite song on the album. I think it would have been better to leave off with "Cool".
Maybe it's because her "new album" won't be out til next year now, and they want to prolong this era.
Once again, going for the urban market despite better songs being left on the album (aka The Real Thing, which Gwen supposedly DID want as a single). This album has been so poorly represented by 3 out of it's 5 singles. Remember how it was supposed to be an 80's dance pop album? You wouldn't know it given the singles they released (minus WYWF).

Video shooting Oct. 1st & 2nd.
They were looking for Mexican people (couples, gangster) for the video and said the video would be "familia" oriented...

This is going to flop so badly, too. I think it won't. I am not a huge fan of this song, but i want to see the video too! They don't want to realise songs like "A real thing" or "Crash" because they know how crap songs are doing well these days, and with the mediocre performance of "WYWF" and "Cool" they don't want to take an another risk

The hook is so...hookless. Not to mention that the sample is overused. If it had Snoop on it or something, then it'd be good.
