I heard this on the radio for the first time last night, on WKSE...they played the version with Slim Thug so I guess that is going to be the radio version. Sounded pretty good on the radio...
Afterward the DJ said "That's gonna be BIIIIG, another huge smash for Gwen"

Z100 plays the album version, and I hope it stays that way but probably not

As I've been stating, this is one of the weakest songs on the album, but it's the best single choice. "Rich Girl" and "Cool" were sub-par as well IMO, but they made good singles.

Even though it's one of my least favorites on the album, it sounds really good on the radio for fall. I think maybe because the album came out last fall and it's kind of like a one year throwback. So I guess that means any other track would make me feel the same way.

Now that I come to think of it, you are most definitely right. Her label probably compared the success of Hollaback Girl/Rich Girl and Cool/WYWF and realized that Luxurious would garner way more airplay than any 80 dance songs left on the album. Everything besides those choices are catchy, but not suited for radio. Sad the era has to end this way, but you gotta do what you gotta do for those sales...

Yuck This grew on me. I like the remix alot. But this is still the second worst song on the album, and the worst single

I agree with everyone saying that it sounds good on the radio/was a good single choice. Glad to see it doing well, but still disappointed that "The Real Thing" won't be a single.

I think it sounds awful on the radio. It's so downtempo. The Real Thing, Serious, and even Bubble Pop Electric would've made way better singles.

This should make a big debut by the time the Hot 100 comes around next week. She's Top 40 at Pop and almost Top 50 at Rhythmic.

I know one thing, this song isn't as bad as people are saying it is. I was never a huge fan of Gwen's CD when I got it last year and this song was one of my least favourites but it sounds pretty good on the radio and it is catchy. Unfortunately tho, I got sick of 'Cool' pretty fast even though I loved it at first so maybe it's a turnaround for this song. Either way, I hope it becomes a hit!

Yeah, I don't really understand why people think it's so bad.

I'm actually surprised the bullet is over 700. I kinda thought it would stick around 500 and make it to/near the top 10 eventually.

I have the remix with Ludacris, and it has a different beat. It actually makes me almost like the song. It's less boring, and I think part of what annoyed me was the iconic sample...Gwen's vocals don't sound as annoying up against this new beat. And I just happen to think Luda makes *any* song better

I haven't heard every single thing Ludacris has ever done, but it sounds like a new rap as opposed to something else added, and it sounds very well done.

The remix is REALLY interesting. It's so pop and it's weird to hear Ludacris on it. That said, I like it a lot more than the original. Anything is better than hearing "Between The Sheets" for the thousandth time. Ludacris's raps are always great too.

I heard a slightly different remix on Music Choice. I liked that one more. Overall this is just average for me.
