Subject: Francesca Kimberley "Chasing Cars" [Koishii & Hush / Soul Seekerz Mixes]
If I didn't know better, I would think this was yet another Almighty monstrosity / atrocity! But it isn't. This is on the bluesheepmusic label. I haven't heard this song and its remixes.
Francesca Kimberley "Chasing Cars"
This autumn sees the debut single release from Francesca Kimberley.
18 year old Scottish born Francesca Kimberley has opted to release a stunning new dance version of the Snow Patrol classic single "Chasing Cars" as her first commercial release.
Although Francesca Kimberley may be new to your ears, she has in fact been studying music, recording and playing live for almost 10 years now. Born in Glasgow and now living in Manchester, Francesca Kimberley has a very varied musical taste. Having trained as a classical singer at college in the Midlands, Francesca Kimberley has taken her powerful voice and has used this to phenomenal effect on "Chasing Cars".
A great song that sounds mixed to summer perfection, the full release will feature no less than 4 mixes from Soul Seekerz and Koishii & Hush.

I was never really a fan of the original Snow Patrol song. Even the remixes and covers that surfaced around the time that song was new never really grew on me.
I like this one a bit more. The vocals are rather good. I heard a short preview of the K&H mix on YouTube. It's a nice filtered, big room, electro house mix. Can't wait to hear the full versions.
