No adds date yet, but next confirmed single. The radio remix contains a shortened intro, a new "woah" in the chorus, and "perfect situation" background vocals towards the end of the song. Should hit radio soon.

I wonder when this will go for adds? I wouldn't doubt that they wait until the new year, actually who knows, Weezer might want some Holiday Sales. I expect this song and This Is Such A Pity to carry Weezer until Next Summer.

Definitely...PS and Pity are the best songs on the album and much more "Weezer" than Beverly Hills and We Are All On Drugs.

I expect this song and This Is Such A Pity to carry Weezer until Next Summer. I wouldn't hold my breath for promo into 2006. Cuomo is going back to college at Harvard starting in January. I heard him do an interview on K-Rock about 2 weeks ago, and he flat out said he's going to fully immerse himself into student life and dorm life during that time. He's not going to be shooting videos and playing gigs or trying to create industry buzz. So, I wouldn't be surprised if "PS" is the last Weezer single from this album regardless of how well it performs.

Weezer has never gone more than three singles into an album anyway. They only had two from Maladroit.

Karl has stated from the beginning that Geffen wants four singles from this album, and the fourth will either be Pity or Peace. I'm sure Rivers will have time to shoot a video in January...he's not going back to school until late February. They can also still do promo with Rivers in school. There's really no reason for this album not to have four singles. And Maladroit only sold 500,000 something copies...while Make Believe is yet to go platinum, it will soon and they've never had a hit as big as Beverly Hills.

This has huge potential...maybe not Beverly Hills, but I don't think many expected it to do as well. This should hit top 40.

I love this song... love it! I think people might be able to get into the chorus "whoh's" (though I haven't heard the new ones on the remix)

I hope this song is a smash. It's up in my top three Weezer singles ever probably. It's just been growing on me more and more ever since the first time I heard it. I like it so much more than "Beverly Hills" and definitely more than "We Are All On Drugs".

Anyway, as pissed as I was when "Pity" was pushed aside for this, I really do like this song a lot. Easily my favorite single by them of this decade, and if it's start at Alternative is any indication, this will be a hit here too.

Video premiers next week on Mtv 2. Features Elisha Cuthbert from 24, House of Wax, and The Girl Next Door. She's so hot. I think this will go top 10 on pop...esp. w/ the edit. Heard it on the radio for the first time and it's pretty...poppy. I'm glad my alternative station plays the album version.

mms://66.186.0.101/allaccess/weezperf.wmaWow, I love this song. Never thought I'd like it since I hated "Beverly Hills". But this is quite good. I love the video too, damn Eliza Cuthbert, why she got to be so hot?

This is good, but I don't think it will even make the top 30. They don't seem like the kind of band that Pop would embrace for a 2nd single.

This a great song but i can't see this going past the Top 20. Plus, I don't really like the radio mix. The album version is FAR superior.

Is it just me or does everyone hear "Beverly Hills" entirely too much still? I think that is what is hurting this single. I do like this song, but I think This Is Such A Pity is a much better choice, and praying, somehow, that Weezer goes ahead with it because of the success with Perfect Situation on Alternative.
I think this song could be a hit afterall, the downloads are doing well, then again, so is L.O.V.E. which should be done uh-real soon.

They have to release "This is such a pity." That song will be a SMASH. Anyways, i want this to go at least Top 30. I noticed that there is a radio version to this song. Is it any better than the original?

Is it any better than the original? I don't know if I'd say it's better. It's just... different. It adds an extra "oh whoa" in the chorus and repeats the words "perfect situation" as the song fades out.

It REALLY sucks this song is flopping at Pop. I can't beleive they rather play Grillz or Laffy Taffy than this. This song is more pop than a lot of songs in the top 20. I don't understand the way Pop stations choose the songs they play. This clearly should've become AT LEAST a top 20 hit especially after Beverly Hills almost went #1. Another sh*tty move from this confused format.

I really hated 'Beverly Hills,' but this one is pretty cool.
