"Keep This Fire Burning" was originally recorded and released by Robyn (yes, that Swedish beeaotch), off her third album, which was only released in some European and Asian countries, as well as Australia. It was released in the UK by Beverley Knight, an almost carbon copy (both versions produced by the same guy). This new cover by The Outsiders feat. Amanda Wilson was made with the dancefloor on mind. The digital single and physical single will be released on October 13, 2008.

This track has an interesting history... originally penned by Robyn who had a European hit with it a few years ago 'Keep This Fire Burning' went on to become a UK Top 20 hit for soul diva Beverley Knight in 2005. F ast forward to 2008 and top producer Vincent Morrisey, who was responsible for last year's massive Dirty Old Ann anthem 'Turn Me On', has teamed up with DJ Squeez and brought the R&B anthem completely up-to-date for Skint's excellent house label Loaded Records.
However, it's the brilliant Wawa who have provided the perfect peaktime house remix for this summers' floors! Synonymous for their big room mixes for Freemasons, T2, Stonebridge, Hilary Duff etc, they catapult 'Keep This Fire Burning' into piano house heaven, giving it the mix that most jocks were crying out for years ago, but with a fabulous 2008 twist. This one is going to be seriously huge... so grab it now! It's already spent three weeks at the top of Xpressbeats sales charts as a pre-release mp3. The full release with a brand new remix from Freemasons will come in the autumn.
