let me be the first to say that i Love this song!!! it might be that i am a tarheel, and one of eric churchs biggest fan..however, if they had planned on releasing the title track as the next single why did they push the album back until march..the original relase date 0f 9/30 would have been perfect timing for the single and album..don't understand record labels!!

I haven't heard this and I am not sure that I want to. I hate to get emotionally involved in an artist only for them to dissapear. For some reason radio has refused to play Eric since How Bout You and it drives me crazy. I am glad that they are at least giving the album a second try and I really do hope this takes off. I can only imagine how good the album is, I just hope I get to hear it one day.

I dunno, I'm starting to think Eric saved all his best material for his debut. Neither new single has grabbed me like anything from his first disc yet.

I just listened to this and my fears are all true. This album will never see the light of day if they hold off on a succesful single. This just isn't radio friendly at all.

He's too good to let get away. Capitol will push him into recording stuff that isn't his own before they drop him IMO.
Another great song though.
And I disagree about this one not being radio friendly. It's a decent late fall song.
I'll say it again though, going back and releasing "Can't Take It With You" from the first album would be a golden move.

I really like this, but I don't think it has much chance to do anything. This will likely be his final release before Capitol dumps him. The verses are great, but the chorus isn't very distinctive and I don't get his phrasing of the word Carolina at all.

This guy, along with Luke Bryan and Julianne Hough, is someone I'd like to see become a superstar. He has so much talent, and his music is excellent. I'm just not sure it's ever going to happen for him, though.

I'm beginning to wonder how much that whole Rascal Flatts tour controversy has affected his career.

^Hopefully none. That was something that I was bothered by and not on Eric's cause.

I'm not sure if this is definitely the next single. The Kat has had some polls up to pick Eric's next single, which is the main reason why I'm skeptical. iTunes has had album tracks available as singles before, so it wouldn't surprise me if that was the case here. Anyway, it looks like Capitol does have intentions of releasing Eric's sophomore album since there is a countdown on his new site. Currently the release date is March 24th.
