I guess this is their next pop single. "Jesus Of Suburbia" was sent to Rock. FMQB has this listed as going for adds sometime in Jan. 2006. I think it's an awesome choice for Pop. I love this song.

I dunno about this one...I see this going Top 20 at best (or at least close to it).

when are they going to stop releasing songs When the whole album has been sent out. This is a "singles" kind of album..similar to Kelly's "Breakaway"

This is their 4th Pop single, so I hope that this become at least a Top 20 Smash!

I'd say this is my second favorite after "Boulevard." I always hoped this would get released.

Yay! I like this one. I was hoping it would get sent out. It reminds me of old school Green Day.

Great! Its was one of the only one i was not tired to heard it, now that i will hear it many many times on the radio, i will be sick of this song as much as BOBD and WMUWSE. But well it will be definitly a hit.

Blah. I'm really burned out on this whole album, and this was never one of my favorite songs on there anyway. If they had to release a sixth single, I would've preferred "Whatshername".

How many singles are they gonna release? I think they earned the right to five singles... Kelly's going with five on her album. How come you're not complaining about that? EDIT: Plus, this is only their fourth pop single.

I think it would be dumb for them not to release another single (here and at alternative) Every song they have released has been a success and the album is still selling decently despite being fairly old now. Id like to see more acts try for longevity with an album as opposed to 3 singles if you are lucky pump out new cd within a year.

I've been rooting for this to be a single since the album came out! I'm so happy this is getting released.

One of two songs already that I am hoping to be a huge hit for early next year. I hope radio picks up on it!

I think this song will flop. Firstly, they've had three fairly big hits. And yeah, so has Kelly Clarkson but Green Day's songs seemed to be more in-your-face as their album was also big for what it was in terms of subject matter. Plus, they currently have 'Jesus Of Suburbia'. That song will get the majority of video attention. Their CD isn't really selling now because they have a current single out tho. It's still selling due to the success of their previous singles along with critic reviews, and the fact that it's going to be known as one of 2005's biggest CDs anyway so people are picking it up based on that. I don't think releasing this song will have any major effect in sales. I say it'll peak at #18 and fall fast.

I say it'll peak at #18 and fall fast. That seems about right (maybe not the fast fall, but definitely the peak). It also has these two things working against it: 1) It's another mellow release right after WMUWSE. 2) The subject matter/title - not exactly a topic tailor-made for radio.

This is just an average song to me. I don't think it'll do much on pop. I can see it barely making the top 20.

How many singles are they gonna release? Gag me. You would like for Mariah to release every song from her cd, so don't tell me that Green Day can't do the same. P.S. = I love you as a poster, but don't discriminate against Green Day when their album has just as many potential singles as Mariah! Mariah released: 1) It's Like That 2) We Belong Together 3) Shake It Off 4) Don't Forget About Us 5) So Lonely Green Day Released: 1) American Idiot 2) Boulevard 3) Holiday 4) Wake Me Up 5) Jesus (rock) Novocaine (pop) Both albums have lots of hits, so why not milk them? It's not like they released 9 or 10 like Shania (although she was justified at the time)

This is a great song, it should do well on the pop chart. "Letterbomb" is my favorite that has not been released but there are still several songs left that could do well. I always saw "GMN" as a single, anyway. I never liked "Wake Me up When September Ends" but I guess I'm in the minority because it did so well but that's one I always skip.

Yeah it is odd that there hasn't been any word in regards to this. I would have thought there would have been some news regarding the video for this a long time ago since they tend to make their videos way ahead of time before their songs ever go for adds.

^Nope, it was canned as a single. Although it's a great song, i don't want it to be released.. i'd rather have a new Green Day album.
