People, 'So Lonely' is not a TEOM single, Twista is releasing it. Not Mariah.
FMBQ sucks. They fooled all of the fans on the week of the SIO Remix saying SIO hit #1. Did it? NOPE! 'Gold Digger' still was at #1.
Also, IDK about All Access either. They said 'Fly Like A Bird' was going for adds when ILT leaked, when ILT was the single being released. Could be a simple mistake though.
Some of you need to chill. The video hasn't even been shot yet, I believe, and even the crappiest songs get in the Top 20 Most Added lists on mediabase, so this obviously did not go for adds yet. Give it time!

This one be DOA... it's already peaked, programmers are VERY well aware of it and no one is touching it... despite Mariah's latest losing 100+ spins a day at the moment... Also, this time of year, the "add" date has very little relevance... one only need look at all of the adds the new Kelly and Gwen songs got before the official "add" date...

Have you seen how well this one has tested at radio? It got a score somewhere around 93! That's unbelievable. Radio would be foolish not to pick this up.

^^^ Those test scores (I'm assuming you're quoting from Billboard's "Hit predictor") are MEANINGLESS...
Kelly Clarkson's "Since U Been Gone" and Nickelback's "Photograph" couldn't crack a 70 score... Carrie Underwood's "Inside Your Heaven" was over 90... and you just know how big a flop both the Kelly and Nickelback's songs were at CHR/Pop... and how big a hit Carrie's song was, correct???
Should I go on?

The song made Top 50 on Pop b4 the add date was even announced, WTF are you talking about? Believe me, "So Lonely" is going to be a big hit, just not yet. Island is still trying to figure what they want the 5th single to be. I think they should wait till the week after Grammy's to release the next single. Also to hold you off until the real video comes, some Mariah fans did a video parody of "So Lonely". Check it out at: www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vee9_jnx44I

Programmers are not very well aware of it. People will touch this, it's an amazing song, and for goodness sake, it's a Mariah Carey song. If it's a Mariah Carey song it will AT THE VERY LEAST do 50M in impressions. Why are you even bringing Kelly and Gwen up? I don't think they have to do with 'So Lonely'.

Down 50-52 CHR/Pop... it's a week past add date, folks... over the past week, we have ONE CHR/Pop add on this one... WXXX in Burlington... it may do something at CHR/Urban (though even there an unimpressive 5 adds), but not here...

I doubt that; I would think call out on this song would be great (this song has Rhythmic and Urban hit written all over it). I think it was pulled because IDJ doesn't want this interfering with the 5th single.

LMAO That "video" is something else. LOL @ "Mariah" playing Twister and wrapping the mat around herself.

If this is released it wont help Mimi or Twista. It's to bland. STN would help Mimi, and Twista's over with.

And with good reason... I wouldn't at all be surprised if the call out scores on this were sub-3. What does that mean? I always wondered what a call out was... "Call out" means call out research... there are several different agencies that do call out, "rate the music.com" is probably one of the best known... radio stations often times will go by these numbers to determine how much people like a song and how burned out they are... Typically, the surveys ask for you to rate the songs on a 1-5 scale and also mention if you are "tired of" a song.. A good song will typically score over a 3.50, a great song in the 4.00 range... The highest score I ever saw was a 4.30 for Avril Lavigne's "Complicated" in 2002... and we all know how big of a hit that became... score's below 3.00 are not good... Radio stations will typically start backing off a song when it reaches a 40% or so burn percentage... Like anything else, call-out is not an exact science, so good songs do sometimes receive bad scores, especially if the are familiar sounding...

Do "call-outs" on CD-singles have anything to do with this? I remember seeing a tracklisting to a single that had the final track as a "call-out."

I bet you had a blast making it. The "trampoline" scene is hysterical! Very funny! Are you Mariah or Twista in the clip?

i think it's sorta a parody of the parodies... it pokes at what some people think mariah is... when you see it all together it looks ridiculous and hilarious, much like the ideas some people have about mariah.

Actally a lot of promo CD singles have "call out hooks" which range usually from 10 to 30 seconds... these are the parts of the song that are played when testing a song. People score song based on those hooks... As for the topic, song is now 51-57... and under 500 spins... unless it pulls a Gorillaz, it's over.

I know. This song should be taking off like all the other songs that take off before an adds date. I mean it sounds like a hit and it has Mariah Carey on it. I'm surprised it's not blowing up on its own.
