No Pop add date currently, but I think this could eventually take off once it starts climbing at Hot AC. I love this song, it's really catchy! I could see it crossing-over later in the spring. I think it will go top 50 at least, I wouldn't be surprised if it went top 40 because it is very suitable for pop (not like that means a whole lot anymore).

This is undoubtedly one of the most immediate singles of their career, and at least sounds like a smash. If this had been released between the "Cracked Rear View" and "Musical Chairs" eras, this would have been a Top 5 classic.
Sadly, this isn't the case and many opposing forces STILL haunt H&TB to this day.
In order for this single to do ANYTHING here, it's going to have as good or better than "One Love" on Hot AC to convince radio programmers here it has personal mainstream appeal. Even if this happens, they still have grudge barriers and biases to overcome.
If I were in charge, I'd say this is destined to be a Top 20 smash. But I'm not, and I'm going to be pessimistic on this one when the latest from Dave Matthews Band and Sheryl Crow couldn't even chart here.
My Prediction: Will Not Chart
Sincerely, Noah Eaton

This won't do anything on pop, much to my shagrin. The band's all but acknowledged that they have no place on pop radio anymore so I'd be very surprised if they ever send this for adds here even though it's one of their most radio oriented tracks in the past eight years.

CHR isn't playing a lot of pop these days... heck, they have a hard time playing BSB and Rob Thomas along with the Goo Goo Dolls at the moment... so, I don't expect this to do anything at this format either.. :(
