oh come on. it's bad enough when stations insist on playing a particular artist into the ground once an hour or even more often (Mariah, Kelly), but one song that much are they insane?!?

It's necessary if the radio station wants thier pay from the record company.

And if I was there, I'd be b*tching up a storm, calling them non-stop, telling others how bad of a station they were, cuz you heard a song every 45 mins or so for an entire week. Bad news = less listeners = less $ per commercial = less $ per song played etc.

Looks like KZCH is living up to the song's title and taking it a bit too seriously.

OK, I found out on radio-info that this was a huge morning show stunt. They played the whole song in the morning over and over in something like "Groundhog Day" to play with people's minds. Still annoying, but not quite as much if it was their normal spins.
unfortunately, many stations aren't far off from that peak when they AREN'T doing promo stunts...

That station looks like a station that should drop Nickelback and Kelly and go rhythmic already, no wonder why the rhythmic songs are doing so well, stations overplay those more than anything else.

Wild 98.7 did something like that on February 2, 2000, playing "Back That Azz Up" and "Blue (Da Ba Dee)" over and over (along with the same prerecorded morning show banter).

Now I'm wondering what the record is for most spins in a day and in a week for a song...
