I like the album better than the remix, which was a big hit, somehow a double #1 R&B/#1 Hot 100 hit in 2001, even better than "I Wanna Know".

It hit #7 on my chart but I hadn't even heard it until I listened to it after it hit #1. I prefer the remix.

I prefer the remix as well.
I remember AT40 played the album version during most of the song's chart run.

I prefer the remix as well. I remember AT40 played the album version during most of the song's chart run. Agreed about the remix. Although I liked the original when I first heard it, once I heard the remix, the original didn't sound nearly as good. I seem to remember the only time I heard the song on AT40 (when it peaked at #12) they played the remix. I remember both versions had videos. The original had a suspicious Joe wondering what his girl was doing with an artist with not much in the way of clothing. Turns out she was modeling for a portrait which she gave to him when he confronted her. The remix had Joe's girl actually cheating on him. Apparently he comes home early and I believe the location of a watch proves something's going on. Mystikal was driving around on a road. My favorite scene was Joe sitting along a row of chair along the road. However, I think there was a long and short version of the song/video and that was cut from the short one.

The album version was a total bore though it sampled Guy's album cut "Goodbye Love" from their 1988 release self-titled album. I liked the remix better as well, though I grew tired of the song rather quickly.

I like both versions but the remix was superior. The CHRs played the edit without Mystikal.

I'm in the minority. I preferred the original.

This album is classic. I like the album version better although I hadn't heard it til years after the remix was a hit.

I still love the original version. I really like the bridge.

This is decent. In my market, the album version was played on V103 and WGCI while B96 played the remix version when it came out. original version music video www.youtube.com/watch?v=eODhO-sA9aQ
