I heard this on my AC station a while back and WOW! It brought back memories of the 80s for sure. This song was surprisingly catchy and I like hearing it a lot now. I wish it could be played more! :)

Yes! This was a great song. Not only was it the top song of 1981 (on my version of the CHR/Pop charts), but it was the top song of all of the 1980s there!

I like this song quite a bit. Brings back memories. I actually saw Christopher Cross in concert as he opened up for the Beach Boys back in the mid-nineties. He was pretty decent actually.

Good song. I prefer "Sailing" however.

I like Arthur, too.
In 2002, I heard it via Absolutely '80s, which was had by a very short-lived (and now-defunct) '80s station: 105.9 The Maxx (WYJS).

Isn't that a little redundant? ;) Is it me, or are all 80's stations short lived? I remember Chicago's 94.7 The Zone becoming an 80s station in early 2001, then slowly evolving to Hot A/C for but a few months, then switched to Alternative. Sunny 101.5 in South Bend is all 80's during the weekend, which it has been for at least three years. Maybe being 80's all the time gets a little tiring.

THis was #1 for three weeks on the hot 100 in 1981 and won an Oscar for Best Original Song from a Movie for Chris and songs co-writers Number one for four weeks on R&R. It moved to #1 around the time "Endless Love" was nearing the end of its eternal run atop the Billboard Hot 100.

His high voice has always bothered me. I'm not a big fan.

Yeah, when I first heard "All Right", I thought it was a lady singing. Then, when the DJ said it was by Christopher Cross, I was like, "That's an odd name for a woman." (I didn't know that it was him that sang "Arthur's Theme"). I later found out that it was indeed a man.

Nice song. My dad's a Christopher Cross fan, so he would like it more than I do.

OMG! I think that I'm going to need years of counseling after seeing a pink banner across the screen that reads, "This video has been removed due to terms of use violation." ;)

Beautiful song. I saw this today on my timeline in one of those retro 80's facebook page that I follow. Haven't heard it in a long time.

My favorite Christopher Cross track especially after hearing it often on old 80s episodes of Casey Kasem's "American Top 40" on Mixcloud. I was already aware of the track beforehand but now I like it more often.
