Hot 100: #7 Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks: #4
It's probably my least favorite single by them.

Wow...one of my favorite songs of all time. This is pop balladry at its absolute best. I get chills every time this song comes on the radio. This made me an Xscape fan and was the song that really got me hooked on Diane Warren. The vocals are killer, especially those of Sue Ann Carwell in the background. She is the greatest compliment to any ballad she sings on. BRAVO!!

this is really low-grade typical Diane Warren drivel, only made so much better b/c Xscape were good. definitely my least favorite single of theirs.

Diane Warren produced this one as well as writing it. Gorgeous song, and the Frankie Knuckles mixes are also quite good. I go back to this one all the time. Diane has such a way with a lyric and melody that aims right for the heart. Xscape gave a great performance.

Shit fuck this song was alright but it reminded me of a Xscape song I loved but i cant place the name it either had 'secret" or "promise" in the title but it was my favorite, I need to hunt that song down. Even though I dont like this song that much thanks for reminding me of this fantastic group!

Although it's an unpopular opinion around these parts, I love these cheesy 90's ballads by Diane Warren.

Although it's an unpopular opinion around these parts, I love these cheesy 90's ballads by Diane Warren. Screw what's unpopular at Pulse. Diane Warren is a God. End of discussion. I believe she was the producer of this track too. (and as I mentioned earlier, Frankie Knuckles (RIP) did the remixes.) Amazing!

I love the Frankie Knuckles remix as well. The song is taken to a whole other level in remixed form.

Cheesy 90s ballads by Diane Warren and/or David Foster are BOSS and everybody else will just have to deal.
Slay a lil bit Xscape! I love this one too!

It's definitely schlocky Diane Warren at the core, but I liked it.

Not my favorite by them, but it's really solid. I'm all about 90's balladry though.

Their worst single. Reminds me of "Because You Loved Me" by Celine Dion.
