She's still working on it! Patience is virtue! I can't believe this topic is 3 years old! :o I think Island finally took her name off their roster. :(

I loved this song and the remixes. Her album was nice, especially for the discount price I got it for. She was definitely one of the better flop teen pop stars of the early '00s, IMO.
Y100 actually played this song somewhat regularly, although they also played Innosense (!) and Billie's first single here for a bit. LOL that was back when they'd release cheesy pop music in the U.S. that wasn't completely affilliated with Disney and therefore "sanitized" as a result.

She fell completely off the map. Good song, but much too mature for a girl her age (13 at the time).

I hated this song then and I still do now. Then what was the point in checking out the topic?

People do have the right to their opinions, even if it is negative.

I was just thinking of this song today, and then I saw this, it's kinda of ironic. I used to really like this song. I haven't heard it in forever though, as I don't have it anymore. I remember radio didn't play it too much, it should have been a bigger hit.

I still own the CD-Single! What an amazingly catchy song.
"I don't know what to do, I choose the both of you". SMASH!

I remember Billboard's Chuck Taylor ranking Mikaila's album cut "Emotional" in his top 10 singles/tracks for that year, saying something like it was the biggest worldwide hit to never happen for the year. Her album is definitely worth checking out.

Her entire album was filled with some great gems. And the single for So In Love... had a great B-side ballad called "The Art of Letting Go." When the album was released, Billboard singles editor Chuck Taylor listed Mikaila's song "Emotional" in his Top 10 tracks for the year. (it's a crime that this song was not released)

I always think of this song as a rigged hit. I was working for the FYE chain when corporate had us push the $.49 cent CD single on every customer at the cash register with the ploy that they could just use the jewel case as a replacement for a broken one since an empty case costs the same. They also had a cash reward for the store that sold the most copies. I remember the week after the promotion ended this song crashed on the corresponding Hot 100.

I remember hearing this on American Top 40 back in the day and thinking each time "who the hell is this?".

Welp this girl just came and went lmao. I liked this song a lot when it was out, and it had some good remixes by Hex Hector and Jonathan Peters.

Wasnβt really a fan of the song when I heard the original. Loved the Hex Hector remix AT40/Rick Dees WT40 played. I had it on repeat after I heard it for the first time!!!!

I remember this song so well. After this, it's like she disappeared from the face off the earth. Never to be seen or heard again.
