"Ooh, my number one. Ooh, my number two." How will (the then) 13-year-old Mikaila decide? :'( To think the little chick-a-dee is staying up all night deciding which boy to choose. :'( :'( :'( I was SHOCKED this became a hit. Our high school got TONS of Mikaila promo CDs, book covers, and postcards to hand out. I thought this song was very bland and Mikaila looked old. I took a promo CD from my school and sold it on eBay. Then another seller copied my beautifully written description and sold his promo CD (and got more money for it). I emailed him and said he was a copycat and he said he was surprised someone like me, with such high feedback, was so childish. Pshh.. he knew he copied me. Mikaila is supposedly recording a straight up RnB follow-up to her debut album! Let's hope this Island Def Jam artist works with Mariah and Utada! "You tell me it's not right/And it tears me up inside." I feel ya Mikaila. :'(

This song was pretty good. It peaked in the 20's on my chart.

Great song, was she really only 13???
Saw the video, I was shocked at how unattractive she was, not to be mean.

She was 13 at the time of release, correct. She turned 14 before her album was released.
I thought it was a great song. I didn't like it when I saw her perform it on August 8, 2000, at a Britney concert. But when I had downloaded it later that month, I really liked it. It would have peaked top 5 on my chart.
But I didn't like her that autumn season! I was afraid she would steal Angela Via's shine in the new artist singing in English and Spanish crowd! I thought she was some huge star after she performed on the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade and I felt so bad for Angela! Then I felt bad after Mikaila's album only sold 5,000 copies in its first week, 1/5 of her street team, so I went out and bought it for $9.99 at Tower.

Song was decent. Nothing special, but I never turned the dial when I heard it.

"Ooh, my number one. Ooh, my number two."( "Are you done in there, Mikaila? Other people need to use the bathroom too, you know!" Seriously, I like this song... especially the Hex Hector club mix.

I liked the song. I was expecting for it to have been a much bigger hit than it was. I was also somewhat impressed at Mikaila's vocal skills as such a young age.

Eh, this song didn't do anything for me. It was just yet another attempt for a young female to cash in on pop radio's affinity with teen pop acts of the time, and it failed miserably.

"Are you done in there, Mikaila? Other people need to use the bathroom too, you know!" LOL, I was thinking something along those lines when I heard Mikaila sing those lines! Geoguy, I didn't like Mikaila or Angela Via when I first heard about them. I was still hoping Billie would have her big chance to conquer America still! The Spice Girls message board and I made fun of Mikaila's album because we thought it was funny to find it for $5.99-9.99 at stores. I remember some mean people made fun of Mikaila because she had a big nose. :'( I think I was one of them.

I really liked this song. It went top ten on my chart but longevity was it's problem. I like her follow up even better though. "It's All Up To You" was the most under-rated song that year I swear.
She was really unattractive to put it nicely. I didn't even realize she was still around. I am interested in hearing her new material when it comes out.

"It's All Up To You" was on fire. I thought it would tear of the charts a la S Club 7's "Never Had A Dream Come True," but I think Def Jam pulled the single after the album flopped. What a shame. I remember when her street team shut down around April 2001, the leader said that she had heard Mikaila was already working on her second album, to be released "soon." :)

yet another resurrected thread. I thought the song was pretty catchy. I'd turn it up if I was riding in the car. She was quite a little scarlet woman, though, wasn't she? Woo! Only 13 and already in love with two. lol.

I just heard this song on the radio last night, for the first time in what must be 3 years. It's really not that good. It got what it deserved on the charts.

Was this song a cover, or was it covered soon after it was released? Because I seem to remember around December 2001, hearing a song called "So In Love With Two" on Music Choice's Hit List channel (which is basically Top 40), except it wasn't by her. I don't remember the artist's name, but I know the voice singing it was male, and it sounded very disco-y. I thought it was very odd, since I knew that she did a song called that earlier in the year, though I never even heard it once.
But if she's 13, then most likely I wouldn't have cared for it anyway since, as a general rule of thumb, songs by artists who are younger than me are not that good.

This song is so teen pop fluff and of the moment. The beginning reminds me of the beginning of "I Wanna Be Bad."
However, I think it's really catchy, even to this day.
