One of a number of songs that make me oh so nostalgic for the Fall of 2000, which is far and away one of my favorite times in Pop music. That's also helped by fond memories of that time period in general, but yeah. So it shouldn't be a shock that I find that this still holds up so very well today. This was Stargate's first hit if I remember correctly. Not sure if you've found this out by now, but in the event that you haven't - and really, for the benefit of others who may be reading this - they had nothing to do with this song. Their first Top 40 hit actually appears to have been "So in Love With Two" by Mikaila.

I love this! Definitely reminds me of Fall, 2000 - along with "Independent Women," and "Most Girls" by Pink. My Junior year, fun times!

Love it! Such middle school memories! I remember watching the video on "The Box" channel. I really miss that period in music. So much fun to follow up on. God...whatever happened to her career after this????
I remember a guy in my class actually thought she was ugly. At that time, when I first I saw her video, I didn't knew she was biracial.

She had so much potential to have a big career beyond this song in the US. I've always been a fan and this is such a gem. It doesn't sound like a song (or any of her other music) released by an artist that wouldn't have had more big hits.

I just listened to this for the first time in years and I have to say I didn't like it as much as I thought I would. Feels kinda weak to me now. "Baby Come On Over" was a far superior song and should have been the bigger hit. But I'm not surprised that she didn't stick around. The climate shifted dramatically in 2001. She came in right at the tail end of the teen pop boom and wasn't big enough yet to survive its downfall
