It was a #1 smash on the pop chart for three weeks. It peaked at #3 on the AC chart. It was on the Three Musketeers soundtrack. I thought they harmonized well on this.

A #1 for 3 weeks? You could've fooled me. ;)
No, seriously, I've never heard this song anywhere.

Back in 1994, the year this song was #1, I used to rent the videogame Legend Of Zelda: A Link To The Past all the time. Before I took it back, I'd wipe out all three files and, to the empty files, I'd assign the names: Bryan, Rod & Sting.
As for my opinion of the song, I like it. It spent two weeks at #1 on my Personal Top 30 chart, only one of two songs to spend such a short time on top in the 1990s (interestingly enough, the other was from the same year, "I'd Give Anything" by Gerald Levert).

Pretty good song. I never thought it'd be #1, though.

It's a good song but it's well overplayed. I like every artist on this song, but I like Bryan the best

Great song! Their voices blended well, and it really showed! 14 years later, I still enjoy this as much as I did then.

Total schlock, but I have a soft spot for it.
I don't think I've heard this aside from my own plays since the song was charting.

"All for Love" was written by Bryan Adams with Robert John "Mutt" Lange and Michael Kamen for the soundtrack of "The Three Musketeers" film in 1993. It was recorded by Bryan, Rod Stewart, and Sting. The song's inspiration was the Musketeers' motto “all for one and one for all." 27 years ago today, "All for Love" reached No.1 on the Hot 100 for the first of 3 weeks, giving Bryan Adams and Rod Stewart their 3rd No.1 hit, and Sting his 2nd No.1 as he had topped the Hot 100 as the lead singer of The Police's massive 1983 8-week No.1 hit, "Every Breath You Take." The song also reached No.2 in the U.K. - I'm a fan of the three artists, this collaboration was such a gift to me. I've said it before, I love sentimental stuff.

I completely forgot this song existed, lol. I loathed it at the time when it was massively overplayed.
Listening to it now... ugh. All those dry vocals are just awful.

this has to be in my opinion one of the worst songs of the 90's . i suppose the combination of the movie and those three big named artist was the reason for it's success.

It’s an ok song. I didn’t like it as big of a hit it was at the time. Plus at the time I wasn’t huge on any of the artists attached to the track besides for a handful of tracks from each of them.
