The first time I ever heard this song was when I was watching "Halloween 2" on HBO in the fall of 1982. I fell in love with it right then. It would be nice to hear this song on AT0 this weekend, but I doubt it's going to happen. I don't recall Casey playing any songs from the '50s, unless there were some in the Christmas shows. The oldest song I recall is "The Monster Mash" from 1962.

I'm gonna have to get out my copy of "Halloween II" soon. It's one of my favorite horror films of all-time.

Mr. Sandman was #1 in 1955 but it came out in the pre-Rock era

I was just thinking of this song earlier this week as I was flipping through "Entertainment Weekly." I knew that Rob Zombie was doing a new "Halloween" movie (I thought it was gonna be Part 9), but apparently, he's doing a remake of Part 1.

This brings me back to my childhood. I was 11 years old when this record came out in November 1954 . Gives me memory feelings. www.youtube.com/watch?v=oNuX7bs2qAM In the song they say "lots of wavy hair like Liberace". Liberace was the greatest piano player that ever lived.
