I like it.
The intro was clearly inspired by the intro for Stephanie Mills' "Never Knew Love Like This Before". It should be noted that Reggie Lucas co-produced both songs.

Madonna still sounded like Madonna back then. Plus this was an incredible song off an incredible album.

Growing up, I often heard this song as an 80s flashback on the AC stations Lite FM 93.9 and 100.3 and I think B96 played it as well (they played several of Madonna's 80s hits as flashbacks, such as "Into the Groove"). I wasn't too crazy over this song but I didn't hate it either. The song has, however, grown to be a favorite of mine as I got older.
