I just bought Sister Hazel's album "Fortress" for cheap, and I was wondering about the songs they released to radio.
I know the lead single was "Change Your Mind". It's too bad I never hear it on the radio anymore...
I think the second single was "Champagne High". Does anyone know the third and subsequent singles?

I really like this song.
It was also featured in the Bedazzled remake from that year.[/font]

Champagne High was the second single and it did make the Hot AC chart (low 20s if I remember right). The only other song I *think* was released was "Fortress," but I don't know if that did anything anywhere.
Back to the topic - I LOVED this song. It was one of the most underrated tracks on pop radio in 2000. It went top 5 on HAC (deservingly so), but pop radio was just too obsessed with "teen pop" music to give these guys another shot. Too bad - they missed out.

Great track from a VERY underrated band. Just when I thought that Fortress was a great album (Change Your Mind, Thank You, and Champagne High are my three favorite tracks), Sister Hazel blew me away with their follow-up record Chasing Daylight in 2002. These guys are amazing live, and I highly recommend all of their albums.

I think they played "Thank You" as the 3rd single in Gainesville. Who knows if it was official or not. Chasing daylight is the album with "Your Mistake"?

Yeah, the Chasing Daylight record has a lot of great songs like "Your Mistake," "Come Around," "One Love," "Everybody," and "Life Got In The Way." The "Lift" CD released in 2004 was a slight step back IMO, but a good record nonetheless. Can't wait til the new album drops later this year.

Love this song so much. But I have yet to hear a Sister Hazel song I don't like. I just wish they would record more material in a faster time so I don't have to wait 4 yrs for an album.

Jond7699,
Sister Hazel has been VERY prolific this decade...they released "Fortress" in 2000, "Chasing Daylight" in 2002, "Lift" in 2004, and a new album for this year. I recommend all of them. Not many bands can say that...
