Her first solo chart topper in 1971. I really like it. One of her best. Interesting social-commentary kinda song, which sounds autobiographical, and does refer to her ethnic background, as do several of her hits from this time, but like most of her hits, she didn't write it.

Classic Cher. My favorite of the three "story-song" No. 1 s probably is "Dark Lady," though.
In concert, I wish she would give the trio medley a break and perform lesser-known great tracks like "You Better Sit Down Kids" and "Living in a House Divided."
