I have mixed feelings about this song, but lately I'm liking it a bit more.
What do you think about this song?

Olympic SMASH. I still remember hearing Gloria sing the song at the Closing Ceremonies of the Atlanta Games. Brought a tear to my eye realizing that millions and millions of people were hearing this Diane Warren co-penned song at that moment I kinda like that the song wasn't as Olympic specific as "The Power of the Dream." You can relate to it in so many other areas of life.

JAM! I remember this from the Olympics. It reminds me of my crush on Dominique Moceanu. (though I tend to associate the "Macarena" with her more.)

It peaked at #2 on the AC chart as mentioned on the US Music Survey.

I like it -- the uptempo mixes are hot.

When I went to Gloria's concert with mi mama, I put her arms up in the air whenever Gloria sang the chorus!

It peaked at #2 on the AC chart as mentioned on the US Music Survey. I'm assuming that Gloria Estefan was this week's US Music Survey Spotlight artist, seeing as this song had dropped from the chart in late September 1996 and hence wouldn't be played as a Flashback song.

I go back and forth on the song, however the Destiny album is fantastic.

On R&R this marked her final solo appearance on the pop chart, but on Billboard's version it DNC'd :(

Love it.
This is the unfinished original director's cut version of the video.

I think this is one of her best vocal performances. I really like it when she reaches the high notes in the verses and 3:20 . I usually like Gloria ok, but her interpretations generally leave me with something to be desired (especially in her material after MSM). This was a pretty good song for me. It also was the last time she reached the Top of my personal chart.

I don't think this is one of Diane Warren's best, even though she probably made a ton of money from it. Gloria sounds like she's really reaching for the high notes, not the most pleasant sound from her. And this is coming from a true fan of hers. (the dance remixes didn't add much for me either).
