OK, I was OBSESSED with the Rugrats when I was like 8-10...and the soundtrack was one of many Rugrats murchandise I had. I used to listen to it ALL THE TIME! I remember watching the music video to the original, it had Mya and Blackstreet all small-looking in the Rugrat's house. I distinctly remember Mya skipping on a HUGE toy xylophone(sp???!!!).
Anyway, I heard this last year on the 90's channel on XM, during the Retro Dance Party thing, and it caught me off guard - it was the original, with them rapping about Tommy and Chuckie. It was a nostalgia party for me right then. Although, I don't think I've heard the song since then. :/ Lost the CD.

I just heard this song on the radio! LOL! But it wasn't the remix that AT40 played. I loved this song. It was a #1 hit for me!

I like the remix more now than I did back in '98-'99. It is cheesy. lol.

This brings back memories. I guess I'll be the first one here to say that I actually like the original more than the remix.

I LOOOOVE the Jackson 5 remix. I don't acknowledge the original, which happens to sample the Rugrats theme song.

I loved it as a kid, but I haven't heard it in ages. I've only heard the Rugrats version; I've never heard the remix.

Wow. I haven't heard this in YEARS. I liked it at the time, but it's nothing I care to hear now.

I even had an Angelica t-shirt one time.

I watched "Rugrats" when I was younger and was Nickelodeon's most popular show (before a certain overrated sponge came along) I also remember the movie (although the birth of Dil Pickles was the beginnine of the show's downfall). I do remember this song (the original, not the remix) getting airplay on B96 in my market. However, I never liked it as hearing the Rugrats theme looped does get old and gets annoying. I prefer other songs from both Mya and Blackstreet.

Apparently there’s another remix called the “Thugrats” remix.

I remember at one point BET was showing the video for the Jackson 5 remix (same video but with the remix audio). I was so confused. lol. Also, I wasn’t a fan because the Rugrats original was the better version.
