This hit #10 in 1974. It's one of my favorite instrumentals of all-time. Of course it's the theme from "The Exorcist."

So spooky and those bangs are so effective when playing it loud. I know... I made the mistake of listening to this on headphones one night when I was out walking. Sure got my heart pumping. I like the whole album.

Love it. I've never heard it by itself, only when watching the movie.

Here's a 3:18 version from Rhino's Super Hits of the '70s series (this is the version that scurred me on my headphones).

I heard this song this weekend. I saw "Exorcist: The Beginnings" (not that good), along with "The Exorcist: E! True Hollywood Story" and then I got out my copy of the original "Exorcist" (which I got signed by Linda Blair when I met her a few years ago). Anyway, it's a GREAT score for a movie.

I was pleasantly surprised to hear this song on AT10 this weekend. From what Casey said, it peaked at #3 on the AC Chart.

This hit #10 in 1974. It's one of my favorite instrumentals of all-time. Of course it's the theme from "The Exorcist." It went to #7 on Billboard by the way

This is an amazing song. I originally heard this on the Pure Moods compilation over a decade ago.

This is a really good song, I love it. It really has that feel that makes it sound relaxing, except then jumps at you throughout the song keeping you on edge. Truly was perfect for "The Exorcist".

Casey did a story on it this past weekend and said the previews for "The Exorcist" looked so scary that he didn't want to see the movie.
