This was the 1st single from her 1994 set "Street Angel".
Although I liked it, I had a feeling it was not going to be a hit.
There was little promotion at the time, and it failed to hit the Billboard Top 40.
I think was a catchy song, but definitely not among her best work.

The whole Street Angel album is embaressing. It's so lifeless and the lyrics are just completely unmoving. I like the other single, "Blue Denim," better than this one, but the lyrics are just terrible. Thank God Sheryl Crow and John Shanks were able to give so much life to Trouble In Shangri-La because the original demos for that album were just as bad as Street Angel.

I liked half of it, but yeah, "Street Angel" was her worst solo album.
