:'( The "Mariah of the East" had all the backing from Sony, what went wrong? I think Epic/Sony did everything in their power to launch CoCo Lee in the States (she was even on the cover of the now defunct "Sony Styles).
Does anyone think race had anything to do with the Asian American diva from securing airplay?
MTV approved the video but didn't play it even though fans bombared (I would know) TRL with Write-Ins.
Okay, maybe her album "Just No Other Way" was formulaic (even a song with Kelly Price was dreadfully boring with the two women trying to outsing "My babyyy!" to each other ) but "Do You Want My Love" was superb. I hope Epic/Sony releases her next English album (in which CoCo has matured artistically) with big support. Don't give up on CoCo!
Australians welcomed CoCo with open arms ("Do You Want My Love" was in the the year-end Top 100 and her follow-up "Wherever You Go" went Top 30).

Amazing song. I'll never get sick of it. It's pure brilliance, as is the video. :)

It's sad that she couldn't break through here in North America with her English album... just heard her old song, "Di Da Di" at this supermarket on Sunday... I wasn't feeling well already that day... that song just made me even sicker with the repeats of "Di da di, di da di, di da di da di da di, di da di, di da di da di da di da di..." Don'r get me wrong! I love that song, but I don't want to listen to this when my head is kinda like spinning...

I honestly BELIEVE the follow-up English album she's been working on ever since will be released next year.
CoCo has a lead role in "Bamboo Shoot" and word is the comedy movie is good.
