We had 3 top 10 hits from 1981-1984. We could probably tell you what they are and most of you still would not know us. We are, however responsible for one of the most recognizable tunes in the sports world and it wasn't even one of our hits.
An extra hint is that this tune is instrumental and you can bet Michael Jordan knows it.
Who are we?

Is there a Go Go's tune played at sports events? In any event, no, that's not it.

Alan Parsons Project, best known for their instrumental "Sirius", played during the starting lineups for Chicago Bulls games, hence the MJ reference; and, the lead in to their number 2 smash "Eye In the Sky". Their other top tens: "Time" (7) and "Don't Answer Me" (10).

I'm assuming that "Sirius" is the song that some radio stations played as the prelude to "Eye In The Sky" back when the song was on the charts, seeing as it's the track before EITS on the LP of the same title.
