Actually, the full name of the artist is Gary Puckett & The Union Gap - I wasn't sure it would all fit in the subject line. Anyway, this is an awesome song, with a very eerie sounding melody. Peaked at number nine on the Hot 100 in October, 1969 (Before R&R existed)

Gary Puckett and the Union Gap. Excellent. I enjoy quite a bit of their music.
This song is okay for me, but I like their others better.

What is it with this band and young chix? "You're much too young for me girl" was from another big hit of theirs called "Young Girl."
I like "Woman, Woman (have u got cheating on your mind)" the most of the 5 or so songs I know by them.

On R&R's April Fool's Day chart in 1983, there was a song listed called "Whirly Girl (You'll Be A Woman Soon)" by Oxo & Gary Puckett, which may make sense, except for the fact that Neil Diamond sang "Girl, You'll Be A Woman Soon".

I liked "Young Girl", but it seemed like all their songs sounded the same to me (well, at least the followup "Lady Willpower"... those are the only two that I can remember without listening).

I like all of their biggest hits to some degree. Puckett had a very good voice.
