A Faith Evans original from 1998's "Keep the Faith", this was the bonus track on the "Never Gonna Let You Go" single-- they toyed with it being a single too. She performed it live sometimes. I love this song, the lyrics are great, the beats nice, and the vocals are good.

I wasn't a big fan of this album, it was too glossy and over-produced. Kind of lifeless.
This was definately my favorite track on the CD though. I always wanted it to be a single.

I always felt that way about the Keep The Faith album too, duh5. Glad to know I wasn't the only one.
This was one of the highlights, though. Very good song with awesome lyrics.

I agree about Keep The Faith too. I feel that way about a lot of late 90s R&B albums though.
This is definitely one of my favorites on the album. That Angela Bofill sample is ALWAYS hot.

Love it. One of the best on the album. Yeah, "Keep the Faith" is a pretty good album, but I do agree that some of the songs on this album sounded a bit lifeless and dull at times. I was hoping this album would be a little bit more raw and hardcore like Mary J. albums. I actually love all the uptempos a bit more than the ballads themselves.
