I bought the new Blink CD yesterday and as I was listening to it, I longed for the days that their music was heavier and more punk-ish. This is my absolute favorite song of theirs. Nothing will ever beat it. It's a simple song, but fantastic. I LOVE the lyrics Their new CD is good, but definately not up to par with their older matieral (before the "what's my age again" days)

It was a pretty average for a punk rock song.

i preferred "Dammit" from "Josie", both songs were pretty juvenile overall though...

"Josie" was far from being juvenile.

I guess it's cool, but they've done a lot more that's better. Even "Dammit" is a lot better than this. If I ranked each of their singles that I've heard, this would probably only rank ahead of "First Date". But I haven't even heard this song in like two years.

It's okay. They have much better songs though.

I love this song. The video was pretty funny, too. Tom sure has developed into a better singer since his nasal backing vocals on this song.
I love all the lyrics to it. 'Cause some of 'em are just funny and the rest are kinda sweet.
For those who never knew: U.L. is Unwritten Law and D.H.C. is the Dance Hall Crashers.
When I saw them live in '99, right before the final chorus where there's that big pause, Tom filled it by loudly (and very distinctly) saying, "Orgasm." It was so unexpected and immature, I laughed my ass off. I've said it time and time again: Blink are the only guys who can pull off junior high humor and always make me laugh. Everyone else (like in the movies, specifically) fails miserably. I usually don't bother buying live CDs, but I bought Blink's partly because I heard it was filled with their one-liners after all the songs.
