It's a song, pretty sure it's from the 1970's, that's very slow. At the end, they repeat "making me, making me, making me..." It's not Simply Red's version of "You Make Me Feel Brand New" - in fact, that's the song that reminded me of this song, which is right on the tip of my tongue and I have a feeling that by the end of today, I'll have figured it out. But if anyone knows what the song might be, please post it here. And if I figure it out, I'll post what it is. Thanks in advance.

Yep, just thought of it. Billy Joel's cover of "Hey Girl", from 1997. Maybe he wasn't saying "making me, making me" It was just that Mick Hucknall was singing that in Simply Red's cover of "You Make Me Feel Brand New" As for Billy Joel's song, I think it was just one of his ad libs many singers use when they run out of lyrics.
