What a coooool song, yet the man is strange. I thought that the hook was incredible! It was released in the fall of 1985 into 1986 when it peaked at number 26 on the Hot 100 making it his last appearence on the Hot 100 and top 40. (I can't believe his hearing is impaired significantly.)

I liked this song... has a very sudden ending, almost unexpected.

Nice rhythm to the song. The lyrics are somewhat odd, but an excellent song. We gotta judge the judge, we gotta line the lines, we gotta fight the fight, we gotta race the race, we gotta fool the fools, we gotta plan the plans, we gotta light the light. Just a few of the lines from the song. I had to pull it out and listen to it.

Actually, it would be more ironic if the two songs had something else besides their chart run (and the year they were popular) in common with each other

Is it called "Face To Face" or "Face the Face"?

Is it called "Face To Face" or "Face the Face"? "Face the Face." I was just revisiting Pete Townshend's music today. This is a good song, but I wouldn't put it in my top five of his. A true talent, though, both in and apart from The Who.
