Yes, thank you UTR for your information. I am also interested in the new Bucky Covington song. Thank you for listing it.

Looking forward to today's update as I've been wondering how Trace Adkinds has been doing with "Til The Last Shot's Fired" after last week's ACM performance. I would think it would have received enough airplay to crack the Top 60, and I'm hoping it may have made the Top 50 as well.
There's no #47 on MB this morning, but I'm guessing that would be Jack Ingram there.

According to the Highlights there are 5 debuts this week: Reba, Trace Adkins, Darius Rucker, Rascal Flatts and Hank Jr.
I would have thought that Taylor would have made it, but she must have just missed out.
There are 4 songs leaving that are pretty obvious: Heidi Newfield goes recurrent, and Bucky Covington, Jamie O'Neal and Lee Ann Womack drop out. The 5th one is a little unclear but I'm wondering if Carrie Underwood didn't really have a gain this week with the BB panel. Since she had been bulletless her last two weeks, she would drop out based on their recurrent rules. If it isn't her, I guess Pat Green's album cut may have dropped off although his audience number still seems pretty good.

Could it not chart again?

But this reccurrency rule was not active back then. but that brings up a good point. what if this rule WAS active while BHC was hovering around the bottom of the chart? would it have been let back on the chart if it had gone recurrent? I personally think that song was what made Carrie a superstar. If that had not been able to chart, would Carrie be who she is today? Probably, but you never know. I think they would have to let it back on the chart if it were officially released. That wouldn't make any sense if it was not allowed back on.

As fas as I know -at least that how it works on the Hot100- a song gone recurrent can chart again if it is officially released or re-released. I'd swear that's the way it works.

Yes, a song that goes recurrent (even with the new rule) can chart again if it is officially released as a single. It would just come on as a re-entry and it would start adding to the total number of weeks that it had already accumulated.

UTR - a quick question if you have the chance.
I was wondering how Trace Adkins' "Last Shot" is doing this week. Has it lost all of its airplay now more than a week after the ACM performance?
It seems like "Marry For Money" might be starting to stabilize after losing some ground earlier in the week, and I was wondering if radio stopped playing "Til The Last Shot's Fired" and is concentrating more on his official single release again.
Thanks...

With 5 debuts/re-entries according to the Highlights, I would think the songs leaving would be the 2 Rascal Flatts album cuts, along with George Strait, Taylor Swift and Martina McBride.
Sometimes the Highlights miss re-entries, and I'm wondering if they just missed Bucky Covington this week as I would have thought he'd be good enough to re-enter with a 0.359.
Maybe Trace Adkins also fell off as he was down to 0.284 and the Highlights just missed Bucky. More likely that there is a station not on the BB panel that plays Bucky a lot and he just missed out.

Curious to see today's update as there are 5 debuts this week on BB, and I'm sure the audience number for the lower songs are going to be pretty enemic.
I'm very surprised that Bucky missed out on getting back on the chart this week. Don't think I'll go with the theory that the Highlights missed the re-entry again, but he was at 0.359 last week and Richie McDonald was all the way down around 0.15 and he still managed to debut this week.
Wonder if Phil Vassar's other song stayed on. I can't find any information on "Bobby With An I" and I'm wondering where that came from (and why he spells it "Bobby" if it has an "I"?)

Even with a big difference in reporting stations, I can't believe Bucky didn't re-enter the chart this week with an audience of 0.812. Richie McDonald's at #59 and his audience total on MB is 0.301. Phil Vassar made it and his audience is 0.285.
So I think that Dean Brody went recurrent along with Jimmy Wayne, John Rich, Jake Owen and Darius Rucker, and Phil Vassar's "Prayer" left as well.

Hey guys, I haven't forgot ya! It's Finals Week, so I'm gonna do an update on Friday night instead of today. Sorry for the inconvenience. I may be on a few times this week if you'd like a specific song's info.

Adam - good luck on your finals. I think we can all wait until Friday for the updates.
