In case you're wondering and don't have it, this is from the re-release of "A Place to Land".

Although I just knew the next single would come from the re-release, I was kind of hoping it wouldn't. This song isn't bad by any means... but I think there are better choices on the album with "A Place To Land", "Vapor", and Novocaine" being the first ones that come to mind.

I thought there were tons of great songs on the original CD, but then again I loved Fine Line and it flopped :(

I think Novocaine is the standout of the album, but this isn't a bad choice either. I think this is sort of a cross between Fine Line and Boondocks, so I expect it's results to fall somewhere in between those two, maybe low 20's like Good As Gone. For anyone who, like me, doesn't have the re-release, the song is available as a free download from here: www.people.com/people/gallery/0,,20236214_20533120,00.html (it's like the 3 or 4th page)

I'm glad to see this one released. I saw Little Big Town in concert three times this fall, and of all the songs they performed "Good Lord Willing" was by far & away the one I liked the most.

Just listened to this song for the first time. Dang, that's really good stuff. I like the energy of this song. I hope it does well for them. They really deserve more success than they've been getting.

I think they could have it if they put out better material. This album doesn't have one good song on it IMO, whereas their last album had some good stuff on it. They need to go back to that sound if they want success.

They should release Novocaine and Lonely Enough....both songs are amazing, the latter is just beautiful.
Not too fond of "Good Lord Willing," will probably listen to it more.

This debuts at #60 on the 12/20 Billboard chart, according to Highlights (one of our few data sources that is rarely wrong, except when it comes to listing re-entries). Could get kicked off temporarily by Christmas songs, but should climb nicely in January.

I like this alot. It sounds alot like the stuff that was successful for them on the last album. They harmonize as well as ever and the beat really drives the song. It should appeal to those who don't really remember LBT aside from "Boondocks" in that it is a great-sounding sing-a-long country song.
I preferred "Fine Line", but this probably has more hit potential. This should get really close to Top 20, if not peaking in the teens.

In the all time slowest-catch-on in all of history (probably not much of an exaggeration either), "Fine Line" is my current #1 song at the moment :).
I do like "Good Lord Willing" so I'll switch over soon.
However, it seems like at the moment "Willing" is suffering the same fate as "Line" (stalling in the 40s).
What does everyone think the problem is with LBT right now? When you have several releases in a row with this fate (stalling in the 30s), it indicates the die-hard fans are on board...but the casual fan support is very soft.

Good Lord Willing is a great title but not for this type of song. This bores me and I turn my XM when it comes on. LBT will be playing my cities annual Riverfest in June with Josh Gracin. I can't wait to hear these guys live.

This one isn't doing anything. It will be interesting to see if their new label even lets them record another album.

I am not quite sure what happened to Little Big Town. Their first album was amazing. 4 Top Twenty hits resulted. The music since then seems to be missing something.

That wasn't their first album, that was their 2nd. I'm sorry, I forgot about their first effort. Anyway, their second album really was great and they seemed to be emerging as the next big group in country music. Now they have taken a back seat to Lady Antebellum.

I agree, however taking the backseat to Lady A doesn't seem to bother me! :)
