I really, REALLY need some help on Wikipedia. Almost all of the country music related articles on it are in horrible shape, and nobody seems to care. I'm sick of getting nowhere, the Wikipedia project related to country music is long since dead and only five or six editors seem to care about country music at all. I want as many of you as possible to create an account on Wikipedia and help me out in any way possible. Copy edit the articles, add sources, find pictures if you can, etc. etc. Look for me on the project, I go by TenPoundHammer there too. There is a big section on my user page that can serve as a starting point: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:TenPoundHammer/Country . If you're not sure of any of the Wikipedia policies regarding content, feel free to ask me. Just PLEASE, do something to help improve any article that you can.

I salute you for attempting to make Wikipedia articles good, but that's always struck me as a bit of a lost cause. Any work for the better is cool by me, though.
Are there any in particular that are bothering you?

Are there any in particular that are bothering you? en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:TenPoundHammer/Country has a list. You'll have to copy-paste this URL since apparently the forum doesn't like the colon in the URL. I wouldn't exactly call it a lost cause quite yet.

Do you have access to a copy of The Encylopedia of Country Music? I see that a lot of your task list is adding more references to articles. That would be an easy place from which to source basic information about some of these artists.

May I ask, what constitutes a reference? I assume it doesn't have to be a link to a website? Can it ba an interview I saw on tv 10 years ago, or something like that? Country Weekly article?

An interview, probably not unless you can find the transcript. Print sources are acceptable, like a newspaper or magazine, so long as you remmeber which publication, which page, which date.
