This is not 'new' in the conventional sense of the word. This song was originally recorded in late 2006 with vocalist Gillian Tennant. A finished version of the song did surface along with the acapella. Remixes were commissioned at that time, however, the project didn't truly get off the ground until recently. The vocals have been recently re-recorded by Kelly Llorenna who was the vocalist on some earlier songs. This is one of a number of new songs recorded for a new album that may be released in 2009. There's also talk of yet another release of new mixes of "Set You Free." Listen to the new remixes of "Nothing Lasts Forever" and "Set You Free": www.facebook.com/pages/N-Trance/32431721651
Overall, I preferred the original 2006 version of "Nothing Lasts Forever" with the vocals by Gillian Tennant. I feel that Kelly's vocal performance on this is uninspired and lackluster.

I saw Kelly Llorenna perform this song as well as "Set You Free" and her other hits live this Friday past at the Clubland arena tour. She was amazing live and looked great (she seemed to be going for the circus theme too which is popular at the moment). I'm looking forward to this
