Goes for adds on January 20. This is this album's "Thnks Fr Th Mmrs" for me. It's much more classic Fall Out Boy. I like it a lot more than "I Don't Care".

I didn't mean they sound the same (although a lot of their songs sound the same). I just meant that this is really hooky and more of a classic Fall Out Boy song, which is the same way I felt about "Thnks Fr Th Mmrs" following up "This Ain't A Scene".

They should have released "Headfirst Slide Into Cooperstown On A Bad Bet"

Their really long titled songs always flop. I don't blame them. ;)
I think releasing songs with such long titles to radio is stupid. People are likely to not even know the name of the song when it's half a paragraph long.

They could easily shorten if they wanted to release the song to radio. They did sing Headfirst live when I saw them so it will probably be a single eventually anyway.

I prefer their old sound. This is okay though, at least it's better than that trash 'I Don't Care'.

I don't like it. I'd rather they released "The (Shipped) Gold Standard" instead. Or "Headfirst Slide Into Cooperstown On a Bad Bet". I love both.

I prefer "What a Catch, Donnie" as the 2nd radio single, more than this.

When is the epic What A Catch being released? That's all I really care about on this album. It still made my top 50 of 2008 though.

Cool video! It's similar to the New Found Glory's "All Downhill From Here" one. I love this kind of videos...Also FOB always delivers in terms of videos...

I hope this is a hit for them, it seems like this will be their last album for awhile.
I HATE how they play this song live. There doesn't seem to be any energy in its performance...other than that, the song itself is great and can't wait to hear it more on the radio

Yeah, when they played this live on MTV for the President earlier this week, it was quite bad.

This won't even hit the Top 40, I don't understand how people who work for the industry thinks this sounds like a CHR hit. Thanks For The Memories was MUCH better than this song, I don't even consider this one of the better songs off of the album.
I would've gone with Headfirst Slide as well, it's different, but could've done well. This song has zero chance to do well.

I haven't heard the whole album, but this song is pretty damn good IMO. Better than IDC.

^ I think "She's my Winona" is the most radio poppy song the have on there.
This album just isn't really poppy or catchy like their last album. So they should just stick to alt/rock stations, because they don't have many CHR friendly songs on this album.

^ Really? That's sad. Is it because their last album was too poppy?
Well, then they should've sticked to pop rock, because this album really isn't pop radio friendly. They really need alternative radio at this point.

Yeah, only a few bands have able to go from Alt. to CHR back to Alt. and still have success. If you are going to go CHR, just stick with that, look at the success that Nickelback, 3 Doors Down, and Matchbox Twenty has\had. I really think this band is talented but is going to find trouble reinventing themselves, and yes, they are completely done at Alternative.
Panic! At The Disco I think will end up having a bit more success, but then again, they made sure last album that they were clearly not heading to the POP direction and in a way built up new audience on Alternative. I think FOB tried to do this with I Don't Care but it just didn't catch on for them.
