Fine with me, but these aren't really my favorite songs. They are my favorite mixes of the biggest songs. It is based on a combination of the United World Chart, ARC, and several Billboard charts, with a higher emphasis on true dance songs. All songs had to have a dance version available, and as you can pretty much tell, it has to be a clean version (not quite Disney, but approved for all audiences). My favorite song this year was the Blake Jarrell Remix of Linkin Park's "Shadow of the Day," which tragically came up just short of the Top 25. I would have loved to include it instead of some tracks I liked less, but went based on actual success.

Actually I used 2 mixes of "Take a Bow." The first is the dramatic change of pace I was talking about. It is a mashup of Rihanna's "Take a Bow" with Madonna's "Take a Bow." They work so well together and it's such a unique concept, I took a big chance that folks wouldn't mind a slow dance song that morphs back into Moran's mix. Donna Summers used to pull off that slow to fast kinda stuff all the time. I think it works here, too.

The Lincoln Park song, were you listening to the Blake Jarrell Remix? If not, you're absolutely right, it's a rock song. But the Blake Jarrell Remix is beautiful. I would equate it to "Apologize" dance mixes from 2007.

The CD Length version of the Top 25 is now up (79:40). Best of the mixes! Edited out some rough spots in the remixes and added more Joker samples at the very end. Also slowed down "With You" a touch, as I felt it was too fast on the originally posted version.

Top 10 is also re-posted with a correction on the "Whatever You Like" Mix. I discovered I had uploaded the wrong "final" version of the Top 10.
