Broken Bow Records has announced a joint venture with the newly-formed Holeshot Records. Based in Nashville, Tennessee, the label's first signing is singer/songwriter Krista Marie. A native of Western New York State, her first single, "Somethin' Fun," is scheduled for an early 2009 release with an album to follow in the summer. Promotion, marketing and distribution will be handled by the Broken Bow Records staff. Krista Marie is managed by Dale Morris & Associates, long-time home of Randy Owen and the group Alabama, Kenny Chesney, Gretchen Wilson, Big & Rich, and others, and she is signed to EMI Music Publishing. Listen to the single at www.kristamarie99.com.**NOTE** - This is the same song recorded by Jamie O'Neal among others.

so its a sister label to Broken Bow? like Big Machine & Valory?
shouldn't Broken Bow get a little more established before they did that?
or am i completely wrong?

Sounds that way, although BBR is handling everything with Krista and this song.

She's cute but Jamie O'Neal's version is much better.

This song is bound to be a big failure.
