80. Jimmy Needham - Fence Riders? Awesome if it is. Then it IS awesome, because you're right! 72. Christina Aguilera - "Keeps Getting Better" Another correct answer.

New clues:
77) This song was one of the longer charting songs on the pop chart - 33 week in the top 50, peaking in the top 10 this past fall.
73) This band is mostly known for their harder, more "rap-rock" stuff, but this song was one of their "softer" ones. This band is actually charting with a newer song on HAC right now.
71) Inpenetrable or invincible.

Looking back, your first clue for 73 was misleading, since you're referring to the Alternative chart. "Bleed It Out" did follow up "What I've Done" on that chart.

More clues!
77) I highlighted a word in the last clue that was part of the title. Clue to the band's name - maybe they're second-rate?
71) The song was used as the promotional song for the Bionic Woman series on TV, and that is appropriate, since no one can shatter or tear that woman. The name of the band is a compound word that might make you think of a hot ride in the sky.

77. Secondhand Serenade - Fall For You Yep! 71. Fireflight - Unbreakable And that's correct too! (I thought you would have gotten this one earlier...). Next round! 70) CS: Former dc Talk member, if you never knew. It was a #1 on the Christian CHR chart last year. 69) This song was the only song released by this artist to the pop chart in his solo career that failed to make the top 10. 68) A song by a foreign artist who is very popular in her homeland but relatively unknown in the US (well, except for Pulse members). In the video for the song, the artist in on the beach, playing the piano while singing this song. 67) A nerd's fantasy comes true in the video for this top 10 pop song. 66) The singer of the song eyes a hot woman and imagines what they could do together in this song by an alternative rock veteran. 65) The lead single from this now AC artist's latest album. The song was actually used in promos for The Biggest Loser, which is somewhat appropriate. 64) A holdover from 2007. The grammar didn't get any better in 2008. 63) Other than Santana, this group likely holds the record for the longest period of time between top 20 pop hit. 62) The title of this song may give you whiplash to a minor hit in 2001, but this song has a WHOLE different style. 61) The singer of the song simply wants her mate to just get it - they are meant for each other.

69. Justin Timberlake - Until The End Of Time 66. Finger Eleven - Paralyzer 63. NKOTB - Summertime 62. Chris Brown - Kiss Kiss (at first I thought the "WHOLE" was a clue, but this is the only song that I could think of that fit) 61. Colbie Caillat - Realize

All the guesses made are correct except for #70 (right artist - wrong song).
More clues for the remaining songs:
70) I used a line from the song in the clue.
68) The first name of this singer is also a Greek letter.
65) Eh, what do you say? Take another shot at it!

^That's not the answer to #65. The song is sung by a female artist. I'm sure it's all coming back to you now...
For #68, the title of this song is the same as a Chantal Kreviazuk song that charted on HAC in 2003.

65,68, and 70 are now CORRECT!!
Onwards...
60) This artist hasn't been on the pop chart since 1995, but he scored with this top 20 hit this past fall.
59) Talk about miniaturizing solar power!
58) The chorus of this song features lots of opposites, just like the title.
57) An AC hit with the same title as a hit by Coldplay, only sans the punctuation. It's by a solo artist who actually gets a lot of play on AC radio.
56) The comeback hit for this ATL rapper/actor who is in a court battle with his baby's mama over child support. He also spent some time in jail recently too.
55) This band did extremely well on my chart last year, capturing two songs in the top 10 of my 2007 countdown. This song was the first hit by this band to not make the top 10 on pop or my chart.
54) CS: I am not sure if this song was released to radio or not, but it made my chart thanks to some chatting done in the Christian music forum. The song is by an band whose name means "supporter" or "pillar". The song tells us that sometimes we might chase the wrong things but we need to learn and grow to be a better person.
53) This band has seen better days on pop radio, though their success has continued on HAC. When this song, the third single from their sophomore album, was released, many thought this would be an instant #1, but it didn't even crack the top 20 on pop.
52) A new artist from Wales who made waves with this single that has a throwback feel to it. Her album was the best selling album in the UK in 2008.
51) First hit on the countdown for this Caribbean woman. The song is one of her more upbeat, dancy tracks that climbed into the top 5 this past spring.

60. Gavin Rossdale- "Love Remains the Same" 55. Daughtry- "Feels Like Tonight" (but didn't he have three songs in your top 10 of '07? Either that or my guess for #1 last year was wrong. You never did tell us what your #1 was. )

58. Katy Perry - Hot N Cold 54. Mainstay - Become Who You Are! Correct! (I knew you would get Mainstay because you really liked that song). 57. Michael Bublé: "Lost" 53. Maroon 5: "Won't Go Home Without You" 52. Duffy: "Mercy" You got 'em! 60. Gavin Rossdale- "Love Remains the Same" 55. Daughtry- "Feels Like Tonight" (but didn't he have three songs in your top 10 of '07? Either that or my guess for #1 last year was wrong. You never did tell us what your #1 was. ) Both of those are correct, and you're RIGHT! There were 3 songs by Daughtry in my top 10 last year (I overlooked Over You for some reason when I made the clue). Maybe you should check again.More clues: 59) This song really has no unique verses to it. It's the same two stanzas repeated, except for a bridge and for the last lines of the song. 56) Go for a jet ride? Pop champagne? It's all your decision. 51) The title of this song is probably something you would tell the DJ at a club if you wanted the club to stay open longer.

56. T.I. - Whatever You Like 51. Rihanna - Don't Stop The Music Correct. Last one is #59 to be guessed. These words should serve as a clue to a prior hit by this artist.

59. Natasha Bedingfield: "Pocketful of Sunshine" Finally the correct answer!!! The top 50, here we come! 50) A rap star that had some minor hits on Urban radio before finally took off with this song on multiple formats. The song features a really unknown artist who, consequently, is signed onto the lead singer's label. 49) CS: This song details the fact that we are in this life together and we all look out for each other as children of God. 48) This song might be nicknamed the "Energizer Bunny" of 2008 - it seemed to take FOREVER to peak in the top 10 on the pop chart, with consistent moderate gains week after week. The song is a debut by this artist. 47) Not a (flop) TLC remake. 46) The name of the singer of this dancey top 10 pop song is mentioned in the lyrics. 45) This is only the second hit by this artist to make my chart, but it was the third release for him on the pop chart. The song details a contrast of places and classes of people/lifestyles, perhaps reflecting the homeland of the singer. 44) This #1 RHY song became a crossover hit, but many suspected it was because of the featured artist, not the main one. 43) This song first charted in 2007 for me but held onto 2008 long enough to make it this high on the chart. The song deals with the anguish of a love that is gone, gone, gone. 42) A #1 song on my chart in 2007 that carried over. This song left the pop chart early thanks to a Mediabase messup. It's the second hit for this band on my countdown. 41) Both of the artists on this song have previous appearances in the countdown, both with solo songs.
