18. Crush - David Archuleta Got it. 17. Chris Brown - With You? Yes. 19. Shake It - Metro Station? (Kelis = Milkshake = Shake It) And that's the last correct answer. The remaining clues: 20) This song features a rap bridge that was left out from more "conservative", HAC-leaning stations. 16) This band has already been on the countdown twice.

20. Lollipop - Lil Wayne feat. Static Major No, sorry. That song was on the countdown already. Here are some more clues: 20) This was the artist's only song to make pop this year, but this artist had other songs hit, especially on Urban AC. 16) When doing the Top 10 Predictions contest in the pop forum, I always typed this song in place of a T.I. song with a somewhat similar title.

^Those two guesses are CORRECT!!! Let's move on - we're almost into the top 10!
15) This alternative band's first mainstream pop hit, and it was a big one for them. Despite being on the scene since 1999, this song was their first top 10 on the Hot 100.
14) It's what people in Atlanta traffic ALWAYS do when there is an accident, causing even MORE traffic buildup!!!!
13) The title of this song is true for other things beyond getting over heartache - it's true for good wines and some cheeses.
12) Because of its release and the way the charts work, historians will look back on pop charts from 2007 and 2008 and see that this song was a good hit. But that doesn't do it justice, as this song eclipsed a huge milestone in its time at #1.
11) Just short of the top 10 is the only song on this countdown without any English words in the title.

I need to keep up with this thread more. :-\
#15 is correct, but #12 and #14 were incorrectly guessed above. Let's finish out this round.
14) The song title has two action verbs in it. 13) It's the second single from this 2008 breakthrough artist, whose lead single soared its way to major #1 status. 12) There was some debate as to what order the artists should be on this song, and whether the "featured" artist was really the main artist.

13. Leona Lewis - "Better In Time"? 12. Timbaland & OneRepublic - "Apologize" Got it. No more guesses for #14? That's too bad - I thought we were moving along, but we're going nowhere.

14. OneRepublic - "Stop And Stare" Finally! (Yes, people stopping and staring at accidents on the highway causes MAJOR backups!). It's time now for the top 10!!! 10) This song has something in common with Black Horse and the Cherry Tree on the HAC chart. 9) A hit single from a soundtrack, or a marketing song for jeans?

10) Love Song - Sara Bareilles No. There is something "special" about Black Horse and the Cherry Tree's run on the HAC chart that is similar to what happened to this song.

Low is correct for #9
Here's another clue for #10: This song was a "return hit" for a rock band that made a HUGE splash in 2000 when their debut hit went to #1 on rock, alternative, active rock, and pop.

10. It's Not My Time - 3 Doors Down Good work. (The first clue referred to the fact that 3DD was knocked out of #1 by Coldplay and then returned later to the #1 spot. The same thing happened to Black Horese and the Cherry Tree.) Next set of clues! 8) A song warning us to be careful of that good-looking girl we find in the club. 7) A question is asked in the chorus of the song that seems to have no scientific answer, unless you're not human.

#8 Kardinal Offishall - "Dangerous" My best guess. Correct! But #7 was guessed incorrectly. Another clue for #7: This song hit #1 on the pop chart last spring, but if someone made a list of the #1 songs each week for 2008, it wouldn't be on that list.

7) No Air - Jordin Sparks feat. Chris Brown YES! Nice work. 6) This song currently is the most successful song by this artist on the pop chart spinwise, but not position-wise, as the artist's debut hit went to #1. 5) And you thought the little penguin running to turn on and off the refrigerator light was that far-fetched? Check out the concept of this video.

6) Hot N Cold - Katy Perry No, that's not right (and it doesn't fit the clue - I Kissed A Girl peaked at #2 on pop).
